Breeches are used in the special forces of the Russian Army in the summer. Made of “Bundesateen” fabric. The Bundesatine fabric is a 100% cotton material with a density of 260 g/m2, impregnated and with a stable dyeing method. It is made by the method of satin plexus, thanks to which it got its name “Bundesatine”. Satin weave is one of the most durable compared to all the others. For one thread on the base, there are five on the duck. In this way, the super-strength and super-density of the fabric is achieved, which significantly increases its wear resistance indicators, which allows to keep the product intact under the most significant loads for many years of service. Dense satin weave does not allow the fabric to shrink. The densest glossy front side of the fabric is convenient and practical – it has a high hygroscopicity and there are no rolls on it. The front side is supplemented with a water-repellent impregnation, which allows you to avoid getting wet during precipitation. This is essentially the “pants” of modern Russian army, though it is designed to be worn with many layers underneath. It serves as both an insulation layer and a shell layer. Per regulations, it is worn with the VKPO winter cap (the modern Ushanka), VKPO winter mittens, and VKPO winter boots, and insulated winter pants in the EMR pattern. It is depicted this way in the photos. This layer is sometimes called a “Warm pant” since it is designed to be used in extremely cold weather. With the rest of the VKPO all season clothing system, the body can be warm and protected in stationary positions at -40 degrees Celsius. This is the 6th layer of the VKPO all season 8 layer clothing system, which is standard issue to the modern Russian military. This layer is waterproof and windproof. It is a shell layer used in heavy rain or snow, when preventing water from entering the suit is deemed more important than sweat evaporation from the body. Since this is waterproof instead of water resistant, it is not highly breathable. All zippers are covered with a membrane flab to increase water resistance at the point of the zipper.Note: The material is waterproof but it does not seal around the entire body like a wet suit and therefore does not prevent water from getting through creases such as where the pants meet the boots, the waistline, and the ends of the sleeves. Therefore, if the user intends to wade through a river or remain dry while submerged, we recommend a one-piece wet suit.We recommend testing the suit by blasting a water hose on it with a dry piece of clothing underneath. The suit is a demi-season authorized set of VKPO 2.0 in the colors of camouflage Multicam. The set of VKPO 2.0 Multicam is based on the previous version, made in the good old “EMR” and has no significant differences in cut and material. As for the fabric, it feels lighter to the touch and visually than before. Almost all elements of VKPO 2.0 use a RipStop weave, which, with a small gap, does not allow it to break further. The demi-season form of VKPO 2.0 consists of a jacket and trousers. The jacket has a hood of a comfortable cut, which does not block the view and has volume adjustment in the front part. The central zipper is covered on both sides with special valves that prevent it from getting clogged with dirt and protect it from the wind. The zipper can open both from top to bottom and vice versa. The sleeves on the cuffs of the army jacket are rubberized and adjustable with a Velcro closure. There are two pockets with Velcro fasteners on the shoulders. There are zippers in the area of the armpits, which allow you to organize ventilation during active movements. There are two slash pockets on the chest of the military jacket, since they are made of mesh inside, they can also be used for ventilation. On the inside of the cartoon jacket there is another pocket, the size intended for identification. The high location of the pockets allows you to access them when wearing a backpack, gear or body armor. At the bottom, the military jacket is adjustable with a drawstring and a lock. VKPO 2.0 trousers are comfortably cut: wide at the hips and taper to the feet. There are special folds in the knee area to avoid stretching the fabric when bending the legs. In the lower part of the military trousers, zippers are built in, thanks to which you can put the pant leg on the boot and adjust it with a zipper. There are pockets on army trousers: side inner and hip pockets. On trousers, additional large side pockets are moved to the front of the thigh, unlike the previous VKPO. They are closed with a Velcro flap and have access control at the top with a drawstring. It is possible to use suspenders. They are attached to the front of the trousers by means of slings and fixed with Velcro fasteners. The military uniform of VKPO 2.0 protects well from snow and wind, as well as from rain. Unlike tarpaulin suits, wet snow does not linger on the surface. The main advantage of the fabric is that it is vapor permeable and breathes well. VKPO 2.0 is the best, comfortable universal suit, which also dries quickly, does not crumple and does not lose color after washing.
